Many students lack access to clothing, books, and fees. Even the registration fee required to secure a spot at a university is beyond the means of some aspiring students. If they are fortunate enough to get admitted and pay the registration fee, they go to bed hungry or without a place to stay.
Please assist us in supporting learners with uniform, stationery etc.
For instance- school shoes. Good quality shoes give a sense of pride and dignity. They also inspire confidence in a child’s life. Unfortunately, many learners must walk to school barefoot or with completely ruined shoes. Through this initiative, we will protect our children's tiny soles against Africa's harsh and unforgiving terrain.
At Baring of Your Soul, we host events that encourage Professionals to support learners and/or university students (Mentorship). We also invite them to provide financial support where they can. We think it's important to empower these future leaders to be the best they can be. We believe in empowering these future leaders to reach their full potential. We are actively working on establishing a bursary fund to assist them throughout their tertiary education, and in collaboration with other organizations, to help them secure employment. This comprehensive approach aims to create sustainable change and alleviate poverty within the community. So, in short, we believe in changing the poverty narrative through education- a response to the Almighty God to:
